Talent Analysis
Aiello is a smooth skating defenseman. He moves well for a player his size and skates with nice, long strides. He’s player who can often be found jumping up into the play as well. While Aiello is not overly physical, he has shown a willingness to play the body and makes good use of his 6’1/195 lbs. frame and long reach. He is instinctive and follows plays quite well. Aiello possesses good puck skills showing both poise and confidence with the puck. He has a quick release, hard shot and will shoot as often as the opportunity presents itself. He is also solid in the defensive zone.
