History

2005-06: Played in nine games as a freshman at Northeastern University. Played eight games on defense and one at left wing.
Talent Analysis
McClellan is an uncharacteristically high energy defenseman that skates hard and never gives up. He has great skating technique. He can move the puck effectively up and out of the zone. He is also very good defending with his stick and stopping opposing forwards in their tracks. He has decent offensive capabilities.
